I upgraded the software from Discourse to something called Xenforo. It's way faster so we should rank higher in Google searches and it'll be a lot easier and cheaper for me to maintain.
You *should* be able to log in with your existing email address or username and password.
The button to create a new topic is a bit hidden - go to the home page and look for this button near the upper right corner:
